Cookies & browser storage
Cookies and browser storage can keep a requested feature working or measure its use. This page explains the difference, which features are active and how to manage it. Product availability and the checkout page determine whether an order can currently be placed.
What these technologies do
A cookie is a small value that a website can ask the browser to send with later requests. Local storage and session storage hold values in the browser for site features; they are different from cookies even when their purpose is similar.
A page can also contact a hosting or external service without placing an optional analytics cookie. Rejecting measurement or clearing storage therefore does not stop the technical request needed to load a page or remove information already held by another service.
Currently available features
Local product-interest measurement is disabled. Google Analytics may be separately configured under the browser notice and runs only after the visitor accepts optional measurement. When active, Google receives the store ID and domain plus device, network and shopping-interaction information; customer names, email addresses, delivery addresses and payment details are excluded. Google advertising measurement has a separate control.
Search and collection filters help you explore products in the browser. A browsing choice is not a request to open an account, reserve stock or receive marketing.
The site can read existing browser storage for its bag or privacy controls. A privacy choice you explicitly save is stored on the device. These statements do not claim that a visit leaves no cookies or logs: the hosting/security service and your browser can have their own technical behavior.
Bag and checkout session storage
When the bag is enabled, it stores product references and quantities in session storage. Completed-order references can be kept with that state to prevent the same purchase from being removed from the bag twice. Checkout attempt state can help a browser recover from a reload or uncertain payment result; it is not itself proof of payment.
Session storage normally belongs to the current tab or browsing session, although restore settings can preserve a session. Clearing it can remove a saved bag or a local checkout reference. Do not use storage deletion as a way to retry an uncertain charge; check the existing order first.
Necessary order access and staff sign-in
When secure purchasing is enabled, the checkout browser-owner cookie is configured for up to seven days. Redeeming a valid order-access link can create a separate secure order-access cookie for up to seven days. The email link itself is short-lived and single-use. These protect access to the order; they are not advertising consent.
Declining optional measurement does not prevent use of an available bag, checkout or order-access feature. Staff sign-in, if separately configured, uses Cloudflare Access and its authentication handling. Blocking necessary storage can interrupt a requested sign-in or order-access session. Provider notices explain storage they control.
Optional store measurement choices
The browser privacy choices page governs the optional product-interest counter. Its saved choice includes a version and the time it was made; the choice stops being valid after 180 days. That validity period is not a guarantee that the browser physically deletes the old value at that moment.
When the feature is available, a missing or expired choice keeps that measurement off. Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track is treated as a veto by this store-measurement control. If a preference cannot be saved reliably, measurement stays off on that page.
Changing this choice does not itself enable an inactive feature. It also does not operate a separate advertising or payment-provider control.
Google advertising and external services
If a separately configured Google advertising control appears, use its separate controls on the browser privacy choices page for that tag. The advertising feature waits for its saved grant before loading the tag; declining sends a denied choice for future optional use. Its saved preference stops being valid after 180 days. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track keep advertising measurement off.
Withdrawing advertising consent removes accessible first-party advertising cookies and refreshes an already tagged page when the denied choice can be saved safely. Browser settings may still be needed to clear other provider storage. You can also use browser controls to clear existing site and third-party storage. Withdrawal is not a request to delete an order or an external provider’s retained records.
A payment interface, when actually enabled and opened, may use provider storage for payment processing and fraud prevention. No live payment setup is implied here. Provider-managed cookies and their precise lifetimes depend on the service and configuration; there is no single expiry period that applies to all of them.
How to change or clear storage
Use the choices page for the store-measurement setting and any separately displayed advertising control for its own setting. Your browser’s site-data settings can show or remove cookies and local/session storage, and its privacy settings can restrict third-party storage.
On a shared device, close access sessions and remove stored data when appropriate. Clearing necessary data may sign you out, empty a bag or remove an order-access session. It should not change the price of a product or remove rights connected with an existing purchase.
If the choices page says a feature is inactive, no optional-measurement permission is needed to browse. The Contact page explains whether an operator support route has been published.
